It doesn't matter their situation. We help them. Having a bad day gives no excuse for bad behavior. I know that you meant good, but you've hurt me and HoustonHamster with your posts. That's not giving advice. I have bad days too. Does that mean I get mad at strangers on a forum? No. I get mad at strangers on a forum, when somebody puts me down when I'm just asking a question.
Thank you. Don’t feel hurt. I don’t. I just ignore that type of behavior.
And I’ll set things right with my crab ASAP. I’m doing research because I care.

Sorry, pardon my french ive been having a really <lousy> and stressful day. Anyway, my point was in confused on how ur asking simple questions after you get an animal when your on a forum thats trying to educate people on researching animals before you get them. I know a bit on crabs and if u need anything u can pm me.
Yes I thought so. Your responses recently didn’t sound like you, so it made sense you were having a bad day. Don’t worry everyone has them.

Hello there! You seem like a very nice person but I'd like to let you know all hermit crabs are wild caught witch is not good!
But some people still buy them. I'm not trying to encourage you not to get them but if you are going to get hermit crabs keep that in mind.
Also if you are going to keep owning hermit crabs you definitely should get your little one a friend.

Yes, I read that last night, so no more crabs for me. I’ll just have to give these two the best life that I can.

I think dancinghammy was saying it comes off as an excuse over typing. And really, the definition of an excuse and an explantion are basically the same thing.

So you had a bad day. Welcome to the world under pandemic. We’re all having a bad day.
It’s an excuse.
Look, if you can’t cope, then why don’t you take some time off?

Definitions of each:

attempt to lessen the blame attaching to (a fault or offense); seek to defend or justify.
ex·pla·na·tion

I’m not trying to take sides or anything, but it bothered me a bit, since excuse and explanation are different. ![]()
Let’s just let BlumenKrone go on this one. Everyone has bad days. I don’t think we’re helping by turning this into a whole argument. Whether it’s an excuse, explanation, justification, or reasoning, just let it go. She’s currently having a hard time, and this isn’t helping.
Thanks! ![]()

Yeah. Just excuse sounds a bit more negative than explanation. ![]()

I completely understand she's having a hard time. So am I. Not trying to be that mean person, but here's the truth: people have it way worse than you do. There's people with no homes, no future. No money. No food. Nothing. We're lucky. Whenever people have a bad day, they tend to think that it couldn't get any worse, and that they have it really bad. But nope. There's people that have it worse. My friend's family is low on money, and her dad just got laid off. He's not working, and her mom works at a grocery store. They can barely afford to feed their dog. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner consist of ramen, ramen, and ramen. She has a beautiful voice, but she doesn't have enough money to pay for lessons. They live in a very small house compared to most people. It has one bathroom. The mother and my friend both have foot issues and knee issues. She barely can run because of this.Definitions of each:[/size]

I'm trying to paint a picture here. I know you have it bad, and it feels like it can't possibly get worse, but look. They're happy. They live wonderful joyful lives, even throughout their struggles.
Everybody has bad days. And some have really bad days. You're lucky. And so am I.
