Hi there!

So I decided, after quarantine is over, I'd start saving up money for a vet fund for a pet. Now I'm under the legal age for an actual job. So I'm planning on doing babysitting or maybe holding a bake sale? I don't really know, any help or tips are appreciated! :)

Babysitting, dog walking, bake sale, lemonade stand, and birthday money. I just put together all the birthday money I get from my grandparents.  You can also sell old things on Facebook Marketplace. My mom would help me put my old things on there, and she would give me the money from things I got rid of. :)

Quick questions on collecting cans and bottles. Around how much is each can or bottle worth? And how do they pay you? is it through checks or something or actual money?

You can put things up on Craigslist and your parents can help you set up things. Coin collecting could work, a popsicle stand, babysitting and pettsitting and more!

Personally, I earned lots of money from babysitting but I know that my friend was an online tutor for younger students who were struggling, especially in math and science. I'm not too sure about the details of it but that can be something you look into as well. Also, if any of your family members or family friends own stores they can employ you as long as you don't make enough money to have to pay taxes. Lastly, I'm not sure how old you are but in Canada for most jobs the legal age to work is 14 or 15 so if you have a neighbourhood variety store that could work as well.

oof. Im not allowed to use facebook and I dont get birthday money. My dead end street has no room for a lemonade stand/bake sale, but I may open an etsy shop/walk dogs :)

Depends on the state. Check for ur state (mine is 5 cents, some r 10). My local place pays cash but some places are completely different. At big stores, they give u tickets and you redeem them for cash.

Each week I get about 15$ for 1 black large garbage bag :)

We also pick up general trash to clear the streets! And take the dog :) Pm me if you wanna ask more ?'s :)

How does online tutoring work? Do you open a website or is there a certain platform? And around how much do you charge per hour for babysitting?

I have done a lemonade stand when I was in....fourth grade I think? We earned a lot of money for standing in front of a playground for 3 hours. I think the total was like $50? That would be like $16 per hour which was a lot. Unfortunately, I was the manager, and there were like 7 people doing the stand. I ended up coming home with $8. Lol

I've always wanted to start an etsy shop. But there are all those transaction fees and etc. I once actually go serious about it. I had gotten a $20 gift card and thought I would use that to help get the basics, but that never happened lol.

My stores only work for soda cans, and not waterbottles. They only give a coupon, we only use our local price chopper, and they give us a discount coupon.

I'm not exactly sure how it works but I think my friend just got to pick up a customer who needed tutoring when she wanted. There is probably a minimum time you have to spend on there a day but I'm honestly not too sure. When she did it she just used a website. I babysat for a brother and sister and I worked for about 7 hours a week and I got $100 Canadian a week so it was a pretty good paying job. I will direct message you if I can get in contact with my friend and she remembers what online tutoring company she worked for.

I think in the usa you need to be 15 or 16. There r websites for it.
