umm you cannot really compare them as care and everything is very different for those animals.
I suggest you do some research on each animal and see what suits your needs better. For a hamster you will need a spend a lot of money on a good cage unless you end up using a plastic bin cage then its like $20.
but I spend over $200 per hamster and I bought 2 hamsters to make sure they are happy and not in a small cage and mad/bored all the time.
There is no cons to having a pet in my eyes. I mean guess people can see the money and time you need to spend on them and all the cleaning and care as a con. but I have no issue spending money on my pets and I love making sure they are clean and happy and live in a clean tank. Its all on the person.
You will have to look at teh care / cost of the animals and ask your self if you see them as pros or cons and make your own list. We cannot make a list for you as every human is different and like / enjoy different things.
and remember having any pet even a bird or hamster you need a good chunk of money saved up. just a vet visit for my hamster is $100 just to see them even if nothing is wrong, if they need meds its easily $120+
so that can be seen as a con for people too if you dont have the income to have a big emergency fund.

Hello there, I was wondering the pros and cons of having a budgie and the pros and cons of having a hamster.
Well, I think hamsters are great! I have never had a bird, but my Mom had one when she was in middle school. She said the bird all of a sudden turned on her... But idk that was a while ago. I feel like clipping birds wings and keeping them in a cage is mean. When hamsters are big bin accesable. Up to you though!

I saw such a bird and I was amazed by its beauty. In reality, it looks much more beautiful. In general, I am a fan of something like that and I had a bird-watching package in CostaRicaFocus a year ago which remained in my life as something memorable. I went with my children and they were just as excited about how many birds we saw. In addition, we were able to take pictures with which birds we wanted and we were left with dozens of miraculous pictures.
