I mean, yeah. Hamster actually comes from the word "hamstern", which means: to hoard. All hamsters do it and it's natural. Make sure to replace the food with new food though- otherwise she might think a predator broke into her burrows and took all her food!

:-) The dutch word for hoarding is hamsteren. It was a term used a lot in the Dutch language news at the start of the lockdown. Albert Heijn, a dutch supermarket, have "hamster weeks". No these are not weeks when you come to the super market, they are weeks when you can get 3 items for the price of 2, so you can hoard. Hamsters are part of their promo campaigns

yes, the hoarding is normal, hamster's may have up to four separate areas in their cages where they store food :-)

Awwww! Millie does the same thing, she usually finishes her food in 1 1/2 days though.
