Hello! Sorry if this is off topic or weird, but have any of you owned opea ula before? I just realized there was an invertebrate section here, and I couldn't find any topics on opae ula. I used to have a few, and they were so easy to take care of. But one day they died when their water turned a gray-ish color and some white webby thing (i dont know what is is called sorry) grew on the bottom of their tank. I tried to clean it out, but could not change the water because the water they need has to be shipped to me. The seller told me that they cannot live in brine water, and so I tried to clean it out the most I could, but they still suffered. I do not plan to get shrimp any time soon, as they probably died because of me and whatever went wrong in their tank. If you have owned opae ula before, they usually live for a long time, usually 20+ years (according to the owner). I do not have much experience with aqautic animals, and so can someone please explain to me what I did wrong? I would like to know what had went wrong. Did I overfeed them? Did I do something wrong? I fed them a few flakes of fish food 2-3 times a month. I know that was too much, but they became picky eaters and ate what they liked best, so I gave them more food so they would not eat too little. This is where I got information of how to take care of them from:https://www.petshrimp.com/supershrimp/

Sorry if I bothered anyone, but I really want to know what I did wrong. Thank you if you reply!
