I promise this is topical. Not to long ago, I adopted 4 rat girls.
So these girls were part of a massive litter of 14 pups (so they are actually confirmed sisters). They were born and raised in animal shelters. As such, they're a little distrustful but they're all wonderful critters.
Fishcake - She is the "group mom". She's the biggest and very protective of her sisters. She actually gave me a nasty bite when we were at the shelter. And she's bitten me many times since but she's a lot better now. She's not mean or vicious at all, though. Just protective with an attitude! She's a nosey girl and wants to know what's going on at all times.
Soup Dumpling - She is Fishcake's twin. They look nearly identical. She's a scaredy rat and can nip occasionally but is sweet.
Soy Sauce - She's the black one. She's another scaredy rat, though a lot more bold than Soupy. She likes to nibble and try to pull me into the cage. She's already been through a lot. She had a 20 gram tumor removed and had to wear a cone for 2 weeks. But she's recovered wonderfully.
Chicken On A Stick - She's my baby. She's very friendly and nosey. Super curious and not scared of us at all. She's a little hog and loves treats and attention.
Of course, pics:
EDIT: Okay let's try the pics again cause I'm dumb.
