This is not really about pet stores, but still something to do with a petstore.
Yesterday, I was looking on craigslist at the hamsters. I am not looking for a ham, I just like looking at the hams for adoption.
I saw a new ad, with a Syrian for rehoming.
I absolutely fell in love! He was a male, greyish spotty white Syrian.
in a -sigh- crittertrail. But the worst part, was the supplies they were selling with him.
A super small hamster ball, wild harvest food, and Pine bedding. His cage had no toys
or enrichment at all. Not even a hide. He looked really sick, with flopped, rough ears and super squinty eyes.
I adore him. He is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!
He looked so sad. I want to get him out of there so bad.
He also looked really sick, probably from the bad living conditions.
Sadly, I cant adopt him. I just am hoping that he gets a good home.
It may not be the seller's fault, the may just have made the mistake to not research or impulse bought.
But, most likely, a pet store told them this was okay.

I hope that hammy gets a better life.
Edit: I just checked craigslist, and his ad is gone. I hope he got a good home
