So where i volunteer at a animal park. There's this pygmy goat that likes to headbutt anyone  in the knee or back that goes into the enclosure.  No one likes going into this enclosure.

Is there a way to train the goat to stop headbutting?  as it's really a pain since a lot of the supplies are in his enclosure.   Also why do goats do this?

Seems the easiest solution would be to suggest that the supplies are moved.

The goat can absolutely be trained, but it would require everyone being on the same page regarding the training plan and consistency. It's probably better addressed by someone with more of a background in training and animal behavior.

For now, management might work better- bring something the goat likes and can have when you go in- goat feed, a cookie, hay, whatever the goat keeper says is ok. Either toss it on the far side of the enclosure before you go in, or lead with the food- an eating goat is not a goat that is head-butting you.

i totally agree every body should be on the same page if you want to get this done. You probably reward the goat when it does the right thing and act normal when it doesn't.
