Hey folks. I tried to post this earlier but I don't think it posted. Anyways, I was just wondering if you guys use puzzle toys with your hamsters, and if so, what kind? Are diy or purchased toys better? I'd love any feedback you guys have on this!

Puzzle toys are really good for your hamster and a great boredom breaker/toy. The best ones are DIY since they are easy to make and easier for your hamster to solve then purchased ones. There are many different types of puzzle toys and a few I am currently using now are toilet paper tubes cut into fours and then crossed together, stuffing treats inside. Another is a tube with cut up edges on both ends (with treats inside) and then folded into each other, closing the hole. It’s hard to explain so if you google or go on YouTube for puzzle toys, there should be many that pop up. ErinsAnimals has many tutorial as a start.
