What breed is/was/would be your dog (dream dog, current, or past)? Molly is a Lab/Golden retriever mix. Phoebe was husky, German shepherd, lab, and maybe wiener dog or something else.

 

Favorite dog color or markings? Hmm...I like Dalmatian and huskies' markings and colors.

What breed is/was/would be your dog (dream dog, current, or past)? No idea what breed she is, some kind of terrier mix according to the vet.

 

Favorite dog color or markings? Uhhh.. Not sure, I don't really pay attention to color/markings, I just like dogs because of their personalities

 

How many dogs have you had? 3. Technically, I have 2 dogs right now, but one is more of a family pet and I don't interact with her myself a whole lot, she likes my dad lol. The dog I was describing above is "my" dog though my dad takes care of her, she spends most time with me and even sleeps in my bed. Also when I was around 4 years old I think, my parents got me a puppy for my birthday. He lived with us for years but then had to be put down due to distemper. That was my first dog.

 

What was your most recent/current/dream dog's name? My doggie's name is Rosie!

This is Rosie on July 4th.

 

This is Rosie going for a ride, she gets to go almost anywhere that allows dogs, like if we are going through a drive thru or something she gets to come, because she loves rides.

And on her birthday. I don't know exactly how old she is, I get confused lol, all I know is I've had her since I was 6 and I'm 16. The vet said she was 1 when we got her, so she must be 10 or 11.

Ooh, I will join. I LOVE dogs I haven't had a dog, but I am around dogs all the time, and will petsit my neighbors dogs sometimes!

Do you have a dog currently? Or a passed dog? Or do you just dream or getting one/are going to be getting one? State your status with your dog ownership! I dream of getting one! I really wish I could, but with my mix of pets, it wouldn't be fair to the dog or to my other pets to own one. 

 

What breed is/was/would be your dog (dream dog, current, or past)? I don't have a particularly favorite breed but I love mutts. My aunt has two adorable mutts and I love them so much!

 

Favorite dog color or markings? I love the golden retriever's color and darker colored dogs.

What was your most recent/current/dream dog's name? I would name it something like Snoopy, it would really depend on the colorings and the personality of the dog.

I have a dog at the moment, and he's my first I got him nearing on 4 years ago when he was around 6 months old and being cared for by a local rescue (his momma was a beagle that got out before her spay surgery and got pregnant to avoid it, so her owners decided to find the puppies a proper foster home when they were weaned)
 
What breed is/was/would be your dog (dream dog, current, or past)? I'm not to enthused with a lot of dog 'breeds' (just all the myths, inbreeding, and general awfulness surrounding so many 'designer breeds' and other non-hunting/working dogs) but I have to admit, I do love pit-bulls and similar bully breeds. One of my aunts always has a boxer or two around, and they are just the sweetest goofballs: and virtually all my experiences with pit-bulls/bullys have been positive (excluding those poor babies I sometimes find chained up / penned up outside because that is heartbreakingly common in the region where I live)
 
Favorite dog color or markings? Hmm.. tough one. I definitely like darkly colored dogs, especially solid blacks and brindles: but I'm not sure if I prefer  them over any other coloring/markings.
 
How many dogs have you had? One! It hurts me, but he'll probably be my last for a long long time (even after he dies, hopefully that'll take at least 10 years) because I can't get a second dog now and I sincerely doubt I'll be financially stable enough / in the right position to keep a dog later. Who knows, maybe I'll end up with a sweet elderly dog after college and things will just work themselves out: I might also foster a dog or two (or a litter) later on in life.
 
What was your most recent/current/dream dog's name? Herschel   don't ask me, my aunt came up with it and she refuses to explain it to the rest of us. I wanted to name him Muffin or Hershey Kiss. It's maybe for the best that I was overpowered on that decision..
 
How much do you love dogs? Loads! I love cats & hamsters and other more hands-off pets, don't get me wrong, but you just can't go wrong with more social/cuddly pets: my top two are dogs and rats

Hey all you dog lovers, i want to let you know about a terrible thing that happened to my dog recently and is a hazard for every dog.

My sister had a amazing dog named ranger, and I loved him like my own. He was a beautiful loyal boy that we got from a shelter. My sister called us over the phone crying, saying he got his head stuck in the dog food bag, because the cupboard had accidentally left open, while my sister was gone at the post office. He suffocated and died while she was gone.

This is a terrible thing and I wish I didn't have to share it. But hopefully off any at y'all don't cut your dog food bags all the way, now is the time. It IS a safety hazard to all dogs. I just can't believe he's gone :( and really wouldn't want this to happen to any other dog.

My sister is moving over to the same area we live  ! I can't wait to see her and her dogs again  ! I haven't been able to see them in three months  . Their all desert dogs, born and raised there. So they've never seen trees, grass, or the beach  ! I cant wait to see how they react  ! My sister has quite a few dogs including two LGD's (livestock guardian dogs) and i'm so excited to see them again!!!!
