Here's a little bit about my horse craziness, I've been riding for five years. Even though my sister's a Hunter jumper I always ride western. And have never actually sat in an English saddle.
I've rode all sorts of horses from a green three year old to a sure footed steed. I always wear my helmet. And competed in a few ghmkhanas getting blue ribbons in the trotting race.
I've tamed a horse once and halter broke him. He was a mini colt that came from an auction. He was hard to interact with at first, but I soon realized the key to his heart was patience. So I would stand in front of the trailer for hours until he stepped in. But I halter broke him, taught him to pick up his hooves, trailer, and tie.
