I know hamster teeth continuously grow and I was wondering what are the best kinds of chew toys for Syrians and where to get them. I’ve been finding a lot of toys made out of pine. I know the bedding is unsafe and have heard pine hideouts are safe, but is it a safe wood for chewing?

Pine chews are probably fine. I use apple wood sticks.

Pine chews are fine. It's the shavings that are bad.

I personally use whimzees for my hamster. It's the only thing she chews on.

(Whimzees are dog chews that are safe for hamsters.)

You could also use loofah chews. My hamsters like these better than wood blocks. My hamsters favorite are eCotrition Cheese Chews. They will gnaw half of it down in a day. I only give it to them occasionally, since it is somewhat a treat. They are 5$ at Petco for 2 of them, but you can get around 5 to 6 packs on amazon for I think 6$.

Apple orchard sticks,Plain milk bones,whimzee chews,wood chews,braided chews,rice pops,balls made from rattan,sea grass and water hyacinth are some of my hamsters favorites

 Any store bought wood chews. That's what i use.
