So my dad had been obsessed with pigeons as a child and has, in fact, owned quite a few in his lifetime. But my main question is if you had any insight to give for owning a pet pigeon? I've done some light research and did go and look for a few reputable places to get nearby, but I was curious as to what some of you guys had to say about owning pet pigeons. Such as whether they should be housed indoors versus outdoors, what type of ideal pigeons I should be looking for to own, etc.

Thanks, Wheek-a-Poo

Pigeons are carriers of infections. I wouldn't feed it. I've only ever had a common raven in my house.

My situation is not standard at all. There are pigeons on my property. I tried to feed them, made a special thing for them where they could eat and fly away. But they got used to me feeding them, and now pigeons start to mess up with your roof. I can't get rid of them. They come in once a week and start making a mess. I know what they eat, I know how much they need. I took them in, but now I can't get rid of them. I want them to find another place to live, but I don't want to kill or poison them.
