I think both the names you have chosen are nice.
I would recommend getting a russian dwarf because they are small, easy and in the past I have had two.
I think a name like Theodore is nice (Theo) or my hamster is called Alvin and my prev one was Pip. (Alvin - boy || Pip - girl)
My friend's hamsters are called:
Theo
Patch
Twinkle
Honey
another Theodore
(They are all different friends
