Apparently they've done a study to prove what we already know -- that hamsters in an enriched environment are happier than hamsters in a barren environment! This is a great article that can be shown to parents that might be skeptical about providing more for their child's hamster, or for people who are insisting that their hamster is "fine" in their tiny crittertrail cage.
