I think what you mean may be a long haired sable banded Syrian... which is awesome and is also the same exact thing as my hamster!!! (but he's a guy :P)

There are actually three different grays in Syrians- dark gray, light gray, and silver gray.

oh! I had no idea I just thought "grey" meant either dove or sable :P
