as for the clinic @ pet safari... the whole place is practically full of overpriced stuff . even consultation fees are ex ($35 irregardless of what, hamsters too) and the medicine isn't included.

Really should bring all your sick hamsters to Namly - Dr Ling
Place is inconvenient but vet is super!

I know Clementi Animal Clinic is near to those ppl staying in the West Area but the vets there are not really expert in dealing with hamster (Personal Opinion)

Do give my suggestion some thought!

personally wise i do not like the animal clinic at sunset way due to some bad personal experiences i had when i last brought my hamster there for diagnosis.

she had a lump on her cheek, the doctor handled her v roughly and after the diagnosis, my hamster was in a state of shock, kinda like paralysed like that for like one over hour..

the diagnosis did not last more than 5 mins and it costs me 70$ with only one antibotic med.

sad to mention that particular hamster did not survive more than 3 days after the visit.

I have since not went back to that particular clinic.

I now bring my dogs and hamsters to namly animal clinic at namly road, which is near 6ths avenue. slightly further, its somewhere near holland village, jelita cold storage, but definately the vet is good...

I personally prefer dr. ling too who is v thorough and patient with the animals. the charges are also reasonable... but her schedule is almost always full, so better book her early..

i have never needed to bring my hammys to the vet but there is 1 in Bishan Park.but it should be quite ex.

Its not expensive, consultation is abt $13-14. My friend brought her hammie with bad constipation there, got a lot of medicines and only cost abt $25. Dr. Cathy Chan is the vet there. She's one of the vets reccommended by HRSS for bunnies, but a lot of ppl bring their hammies there.

I brought my dog there for her vaccinnation and heartworm test and they were more gentle and through than Namly's Dr Ling. I brought my dog to Dr ling for a check up when i first adopted her. For her heartworm test(which is $5 less than namly), vacinnation(which is $10 less), heartworm tablets, consultation and cough medicine, it cost less than $120 at Bishan park vet.

I feel that the treatment there is better and the vet is more gentle and patient than namly

they've relocated to a shop just opposite the park. buses 262, 136 and 133 pass by there.
