Recently I came upon this in my National Geographic issue and decided to take a look on the internet and sure enough, I found it.

Here is the link that leads to the story and also a video of the hamster driving/steering the truck.

What are your thoughts on this?

It's in interesting topic, but I don't like the fact that the hamster is running on a mesh like wheel.

I read about that! It seems like a fun thing to do. (with a better wheel)

Yup they should really consider getting a better wheel.

Wouldn't the hamster get kinda stressed...besides that and the wheel it is an interesting idea.

I'm pretty sure the article in the magazine says he got the WHOLE carrot afterward, that seems fair. On a related topic, did any of you guys see the wild hamster article in NG Kids?

This is wrong. It could kill both the human and the hamster if the hamster lost interest in the carrot, and there was a wire wheel. Cool, but wrong. :/
