As above. I am using Sluis banquet for dwarfs currently but heard that it will be replaced with the Sluis Superior Menu instead.

if I'm not wrong, Minimal Foods has a mix specially for "djungarian hamsters". but the picture on the cover seems to indicate that it has way too many sunflower seeds for my liking. I'm gonna stick to Sluis or Brown's. the pieces may be large, but at least they seem to be better balanced. I dunno though. what do you guys think?

I just my first pair of WWs and I want to give them the best.

I am using the Sluis Dwarf Hamster mix too and find it much more healthy for the little one compared to the earlier brand of feed she had. My ham Snowy likes soy beans tho and I was wondering if I could get some organic soy beans to add to her seed mix. She doesn't seem to like the one in the Sluis mix.

I do break up some of the large pieces for my hamster so that its easier for her to manage the pieces, but actually she's quite a strong little one and will drag large items of food in her mouth to her toilet or sleeping area.

Yes... Brown's Encore and Banquet do smells good esp their Fruit Banquet... BUT!~ if u really really want to give that to your hams, try to avoid the green colored pellets... After giving the colored pellets to my hams, esp the green ones, my hams poops were GREEN!...

Pros: Little sunflower seeds, a lot of vitamins in the mix, Brown's Fruit Banquet contains Dried Brewers Yeast and my hams love it! kekeke... Cons: Too many artificial colorings!

I am giving all my hamsters either minimal or Vitkacraft mix. Normally I will mix 3/4 of the mix with 1/4 or rolled aots. I can tell u rolled oats do really fatten them up.

But now I try to cut doen on dry mix and replace nutri bloack as their main diet. Nutri blocks can be found from pet mart. They are really good and really make your hamster fat. I have tried on one hamster feed with it and the other with the dry mix. Size big difference.

Luckily I didnt feed my hamsters the nutriblocks (what brand is that?)... Sigh, hv already stocked up 6 packets of sluis dwarf hamster mix... cutieb checked out the pet shops in JB and confirmed with me that there aren't any sluis banquet to be found there too... at least the 6 packets can last my hams for at least another 6 months... hopefully

what dwarf hamster mix shd I switch to... I want those with smaller pieces and don't hv overall strong smell like sluis superior...
