A Day to Celebrate our wonderful little friends. Take this day to gather with friends (online or real life) and celebrate hamsters. Aharoni found a family of Syrian hamsters back on April 12, 1930. All syrian hamsters today descend from this family. Ever since then hamsters have been a part of human life whether in the lab or as pets. A day to celebrate all hamsters, Happy Hamster Day!
