Here’s the exclusive interview with Biscuit!!

Hamster Hideout (HH): Hi Biscuit, congratulations for winning hamster of the month. How are you feeling now?

Biscuit: Thanks! I’m just so happy that I’ve won! I’ve been waiting for this for a long time now, I am so pleased and grateful. All the other hamsters did very well and it was a close call, thank you everyone for the votes!

HH: Tell us more about how you come to live with your owner, Supermunchie.
Biscuit: Well I had been sleeping in the corner of my tank in the pet shop. All my brothers had gone to new homes so I was the only one left. I heard some girls go past the tank, they said “awww!” but then they moved on. I opened one of my eyes and saw a blonde girl over by the rescue section looking at some dwarf hamsters, I thought I was never going to be adopted. But then, she came over to me and asked to see me, and before I knew it I was in my sparkling new cage with a brand new life!

HH: What do you spend your day (or night)?
Biscuit: In the day I sleep, like most other hamsters. But at night it is all so different! I love speeding around in my cage and chewing the bars, I also love to store all my food and make my bed a mess!

HH: Describe your likes and dislikes.
Biscuit: Well, I love food. Any kind, carrots, broccolli, hamster mix, but my favourite is mealworms. They are so delicious and crunchy!
I dislike loud noises, especially fireworks! They are so scary and noisy!

HH: What does your home look like?
Biscuit: At the moment I am living in a Rotastack Creep Castle, with a removed wheel (they are apparently to small, so Supermunchie has taken it off) but Supermunchie has ordered a Zoozone 2 and a Wodent Wheel which should arrive soon! Supermunchie also lets me out in my hamster ball every night so I get enough exercise.

Hi, my name is Kat & I was brought home with my sister Kit from a local pet store. I’m a really shy hammy, but I can run a gazillion miles per hour on my wheel. My mama says that the bruise on the right side of my nose is what makes me special. I love digging through bedding (my mama made a digging tower especially for me) & snuggling with my sisters. My favorite foods are birdseeds & tofu! You still wanna know more about me … what?! you wanna interview me?! *blushes* Oh ok …

Hamster Hideout (HH): Hi Kat, congratulations for winning hamster of the month. How are you feeling now?
Kat: I’m so happy happy happy I can’t stop wizzing around!

HH: Tell us more about yourself
Kat: I was brought home with my sister Kit from a local petstore in the month of April this year. We were the only 2 Robo hamsters in the store and we must have looked too cute to resist! The bruise on my nose is my trademark and that’s how my human could tell us apart. Unfortunately, my sister didn’t make it. My human couldn’t stand to see me all alone, so she decided to bring home my other 2 sisters! Now, there are the 3 of us.

HH: Who are your best friends?
Kat: My bestest friends in the world are my 2 sisters! We cuddle together, fight over food together, and try to race each other in our wheel. Then of course there’s my human, who I don’t care for very much, but she gives us lots and lots of foods!

HH: What are your fave foods?
Kat: My favourite food is scrambled egg cooked with tofu, which is a super rare treat & I nom it down whenever it’s offered to me.

HH: What are your hobbies?

Kat: My human made this tower, stuffed with bedding. I like to go in it and just dig, dig, dig my way down! And I wouldn’t be a Robo hamster if I didn’t love running on my wheel, too

HH: Do you like surfing Hamster Hideout?
Kat: Of course I like surfing HH! If it weren’t for HH, I wouldn’t have won this month’s contest I want to thank all those who have voted for me and my human who have nominated me.
