I might get a hamster and dont kno wat to name it, help!
I have a female who shared a wire cage with a male for about a week. Then, we purchased two plastic cages, one for each of them.
A day or two after they started living in their new cages, the female developed a strong odor of urine. She grooms herself as regularly as before, but I guess it’s impossible for her to get rid of the urine smell. Any ideas on what caused this and how can I remove the odor from her?
M hamster (Squint) Had BABIES!!! She actually had like….19, but now there is only 7. All of them have a fur pattern is this order: Tan-White-Tan. Only one is all tan. His name is Runty. I named the one who opened his eyes first (In my hand!!!) Tiger [whitch I call Ti]. And I also named one Cappy, but I don’t know whitch one…Hehe. Only there is one thing….I have to give Squint back to the pet store on Tuesday/Wedensday! I’m sooo upset but I still have my first hamster (Buddy). Speaking of whitch… He smells really bad at the moment… Gotta Go!!!

my hamster moon has been odd lately she has not been eating for 3 days and she has been sleeping alot and when she is up she is queit and sits in her bed can anyone help me!!!!!! she is going to die soon!!!!!!

poor hammie’. Maybe she is just hording food? I hope so, i have 18 hamsters and breed for a living, some of my hamsters hoard soo much that you could fill 8 food bowls with thier hoarding… If I am wrong, take her/him 2 the vet…
