I think it is a story of triumph and love winning out in the end. I had a similar experience with a rat named Mad-Eye. He only lived 12 months, but in the 12 months he gave more love than most humans do in a lifetime. Thank you for giving Pompadore the chance to know love. I'm a firm believer than when an animal is truly loved and loves back with all their heart, their spirit grows too big to just leave this world. He'll be back in different bodies, giving deserving humans his special blessing and love! I don’t think this was a sad or tragic story.
