Hamster Hideout (HH): Hi Noël, congratulations for winning hamster of the month. How are you feeling now?
Noël: I am just so thrilled! I didn’t think I would make it the first time through so at first I was shocked especially with all of the other cute hamsters that entered.

HH: Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Noël: Well let’s see, I have a brother named Yve. He is really great I love to cuddle with him and play with him. I also love food, Mommy sometimes jokes around that I only pay attention to her for more treats. That is quite absurd seeing as I love my Mommy more then any other human in the world!! I am easily excitable and love to run on my wheel. My birthday is coming up soon, Mommy says she doesn’t know the exact date so she said that we would have a party with extra special treats (yum!) on whatever day happens to catch our fancy.

HH: Can you tell us a little bit about you and your brother?
Noël: My brother Yve is a dilute black russian campbell dwarf. He can sometimes be grouchy but he is always fun to be with. Yve loves food as much as I do, I suppose it runs in the family. He sleeps more than I do but I don’t mind and when I want to play with him I just make extra noise until he gets up.

HH: Can you describe your home for us?

Noël: We live in a 20-gallon long aquarium. We have aspen shavings, carefresh and tissue in our beds; we have a big food dish with lots of yummy food, two wheels, lots of cool beds and a big water bottle!! Mommy is always switching out new toys. She says for Christmas we might get a teeter-toter. I don’t know what that is so it will a big surprise!

HH: You seem to love food but what is your favourite?
Noël: This is an easy one! I love sunflower seeds the most! All though I also like cucumber, and lettuce, and chicken, and toast, and yogurt and hooman-baby food and….well there is so much more but I won’t bore you so much…hehe.

HH: Is there anything else you would like to say?
Noël: Yes, thank you so much for all those who voted for me and good luck to those who enter any future contests! Also can anyone tell me what a teeter-toter is? I am just so curious!
